Fairhaven

Fairhaven is a small town located in the south eastern section of Massachusetts, neighbored by New Bedford, separated by a small body of water. The population consist of approximately 15,900 and a small landmass of around 14.1 square miles. Fairhaven Real Estate is an hour and a half drive to Boston (60.7 mi) and a short drive to Rhode Island (35 mi) which takes less than an hour to get to. Once you enter the town there are many free local attractions such as the West Island located southern Fairhaven, where a reservation is located on the small island. There are historic attractions like Fort Phoenix, where the first naval battle of the American Revolution was held. The community had created free small libraries that are located outside in different location across town for everyone to share and read books.  Soniticut Neck is a great scenic route that displays beautiful homes and Buzzards on both sides. Fairhaven Real  Estate has many small beaches like Pope beach and the West Island Town beach, which are sights to see. Their many local shops that are great to visit such as the local farmers market, and shops like Periwinkles that uses a beach/sea theme to create costume home décor and jewelry. This small town is home to one high school, a Middle School, and 2 Elementary schools.  When it comes to food locals recommend the Pasta House which an Italian restaurant and Margaret’s Restaurant a seafood eatery with a cottage like feel to it.  Fairhaven is a close community that has several beautiful sites that are amazing to live next to.
